On the Water, in the Quarter Mile!          

Southwest Dragboat Association is a NM registered non profit organization started for the purpose of promoting safe dragboat racing in the state of New Mexico. We race at Elephant Butte State Park, through the sponsorship of that state park, and are members of the local community, and chamber of commerce, and as well, participate in local events. We currently race 6 weekends a year, and our schedule can be found here. We start at about 9:00 in the morning and try to be off the water by 4:00 unless there is a special event. Saturday is qualifying, and declaring, and Sunday is Eliminations, and awards.
